Last week I enjoyed the whole pleasure of San Francisco, California. The great landscape, the sea, Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, etc. surrounding SFO is still endangered by the high number of fires, though.

As you can see in my flickr photo strip, these cause a wall of fog hindering you to throw your fascinated gaze to Golden Gate Bridge and other high wonders of the city.

Despite doing usual German travel activities, we kept discipline all the time and attended the Institute of Internal Auditors IIA Conference all and every day at Moscone Center. You remember? The huge exhibition and conference center in the city center which hosted for example Steve Jobs and his Apple product presentations.

In the nights, we focused on our - adapted - paradigm: "best bars for best people", for example the "Redwood Room Bar" at the Clift Hotel, SFO.

California, still the place to be!
